After Ronnie Van Zant lost his grandmother, Gary Rossington's mother died.  It’s been said that misery loves company so the two got together in Van Zant's apartment and started telling stories about the two ladies and the advice the women had given them over the years.  In about an hour, they wrote Simple Man proving that by sharing your grief and carrying each other’s burdens, you can heal and touch other’s by simply being human.

According to AskMen.com, here are some ways a good woman improves your life:

She makes you socialize – Women are more social than men, so women put pressure on you to get out of your cave and make stronger connections with others.

She keeps you normal – Every guy has his hang-ups, whether it's jealousy or lack of confidence. A good woman can keep that stuff under control.

She keeps you healthy – Women are often more health-conscious than guys are. Some of their good habits are likely to rub off on you.

She challenges you to try new things – It's both easier and more fun to try new things when you have someone by your side. You're more likely to take chances when you're with
someone you trust. Ultimately, a good woman will help you become better-rounded.

All that being said, I now ask you the following:

Has a girlfriend or wife SERIOUSLY improved you? How much of a mess were you before meeting her? How have things changed?

Thanks for Rockin'!
