Eric Church has slowly risen through the ranks of country music and has become a major star headlining major arenas.  He will perform at Time Warner Cable Arena on November 28.

Church has opened for some of the best in country, but credits rocker Bob Seger with some of his most important lessons.  The biggest lesson of them all?  It is all about the music.  Eric Church tells The Detroit News:

"Bob came out there with sound and lights, that's it; and when he walked out there the place went crazy,...It was about the music, it was about the energy in the room. Those were the loudest shows I played that year, and I played with everybody...Bob built it the right way, a lot of touring, over a long period of time."

In the beginning, Eric played at local bars around the Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina area.  Now, he plays big stages and sometimes that lands him in very unique situations.  This summer, he appeared at Metallica's Orion Festival.
