The 50th anniversary of The Rolling Stones has fueled speculation regarding a tour. The band has been coy and short on details. But, guitarist Keith Richards let some big news slip in an interview with Q magazine:
"We've got some shows in London, I believe, and in New York, but I really can't talk about any of that at the moment. They've put the gag on me on this. You can hint!"
Richards went on to say that the band is currently rehearsing and that the practices were going well, despite the fact that the band had not played together recently.
The anniversary of The Rolling Stones' first gig came and went in July. But, members of the band often cite January of 1963 as the official beginning of the band, because that is when drummer Charlie Watts joined. Multiple documentaries on the band are coming in honor of the anniversary.
